Over the years I've
written, edited, and produced a number of books for clients, including three organizational
histories and two primers on public policy issues. I've
also produced longer publications that synthesize a body of knowledge or
translate technical studies and issues into plain English.
At the moment, I'm not taking book-length
Oregon Forest Resources Institute,
Harvest and Regeneration, a background paper to
help lay readers understand the methods and trade-offs involved in various silviculture practices in commercial forests.
Commitment to Community, a history of company philanthropy.
Pacific Power & Light,
The Pacific Power Story, 75th Anniversary company history.
Public Power Council,
Power Planning Primer, a book explaining the role of publicly owned
utilities in the Pacific Northwest, and the issues they confront in
planning and delivering electric power.
